Angela Georgina Burdett-Coutts, Baroness Burdett-Coutts was born on 25 April 1814 at Picadilly, London, England.2 She was the daughter of Sir Francis Burdett, 5th Bt. and Sophia Coutts.1 Her baptism name was Angela Georgina Burdett.3 Angela Georgina Burdett-Coutts, Baroness Burdett-Coutts she inherited the vast fortune of her grandfather, Thomas Coutts, under the will of his second wife, Harriet Mellon on 6 August 1837.1 On 14 September 1837 her name was legally changed to Angela Georgina Burdett-Coutts by Royal Licence.3 She was principal partner of Coutts & Company.4 She married Rt. Hon. William Lehman Ashmead Burdett-Coutts-Bartlett-Coutts on 12 February 1881 at Christ Church, Down Street, Picadilly, London, England.2 Angela Georgina Burdett-Coutts, Baroness Burdett-Coutts died on 30 December 1906 at Picadilly, London, England, at age 92; from bronchitis, without issue.4 She was buried on 5 January 1907 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England.4 Dictionary of National Biography.5
